Alhambra at Night

Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 29 May 2018 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A photo I took recently of the Alhambra at night.

The Alhambra is a fortified Islamic palace dating from the mid 13th century and is located in a fantastic setting overlooking the city of Granada with the snow capped Sierra Nevada maountains in the background of the photo.

This photo is made up from 5 stitched 36 mp shots from a tripod mounted Nikon D800 with an exposure time of 3 seconds for each of the 5 photos. The full size original version of this photo is over 20,000 pixels wide and you can zoom in to count the individual bricks in the Palace walls. It would easily print to the size of a large billboard.

Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog

For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to my website Ian Bramham - Fine Art Photography where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo.
