Brateak Krola Lake, Cambodia

A beautiful lake in Kampot province, southern Cambodia near the border with Vietnam.

Sometimes called the 'Secret Lake' it has a dark history. It's an artificial lake built in the 1970s by the Khmer Rouge using forced labour and many Cambodians died during its construction.
