Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 16 February 2016 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A photo of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia which were designed by architect César Pelli and completed in 1996. They were the tallest buildings in the world until 2004.

I was very lucky with the weather and the light for this photo which was taken from the sky bar of the nearby Traders Hotel.

I've just come back from a two week trip to Cambodia and stopped in Kuala Lumpur for a couple of days on the way there.

Fantastic light and contrast. The band of brightness is just perfect to highlight the towers.
