Llandudno Shelter

Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 8 April 2014 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

A photo that I took a few months ago of a shelter on the beach promenade at Llandudno in north Wales.

In the best traditions of Wabi-sabi I chose one of the asymmetric shelters that line the promenade for this apparently symmetrical composition.

PS - I've updated the blog on my website this week with an article on a visit last weekend that I paid to the fantastic Van Gogh 'Sunflowers' exhibition at the National Gallery in London: Composition in Art - Learning from Vincent

Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog

For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to my website Ian Bramham - Fine Art Photography where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo.
