San Giorgio Maggiore, VenicePosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 25 October 2013 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I've just come back from a 6 day photography trip to Venice. This shot is a long-exposure night photo with the lights and waves from a passing waterbus creating the foreground with the beautiful Palladian Church of San Giorgio Maggiore in the background. Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to my website Ian Bramham - Fine Art Photography where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo.

@Curly: Thanks Curly! The way that those waves reflected the light surprised me too (in a nice way) - surprises like this are one the things I love about long exposure photography. @Veronique: Thanks Veronique! |
