Liverpool Library

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 17 July 2013 in Architecture and Portfolio.

I've been really busy with work recently so haven't had the opportunity to take many photos but here's one from a visit to the recently refurbished and extended central library building in Liverpool. The work cost £55M and took about 3 years.

This photo was taken from the entrance of the the new foyer looking upward toward the glass and timber domed multi-storey atrium. I particularly love the layered staircases which cross the gap.
