A bird flying in the middle of the lace of the trees, it's superb. Annierita

On va de surprise en surprise avec toi ! Déjà cette contre-plongée avec ce face à face de lignes d'arbres est magnifique, mais en plus ce pigeon qui passe dans cette "avenue" c'est un régal ! Quel beau moment ! Bonne journée Ian

Ian, a great image made better by be inclusion of the pigeon.

15 Feb 2013 6:48am

@Andrew Atkinson: Thanks Andrew - I took a few shots before I got this one with the pigeon centered between the trees.

Gérard Beullac from Paris, France

A radical angle for a neat but also poetic geometry, the presence of the pigeon is participating to your sense of perfection !

15 Feb 2013 7:14am

@Gérard Beullac: Thanks Gérard - the composition of my photos seems to be getting increasingly geometric

Veronique from France-and-, Switzerland

An unusual point of view !

John Leech from Grange-over-Sands, United Kingdom

Hé, monsieur pigeon, un peu plus à droite le, euh, un peu à gauche, plus à gauche, plus à gauche, ah, parfait, [click] merci. I bet anyone who hates pigeons, hates photography and is alergic to bushes would still love this one.

15 Feb 2013 9:03am

@John Leech: :-) it was worth hanging around for a few minutes trying to get one in the right position - most of the time they were flying through in groups. In fact there's another one hidden against the background of branches in this shot but it's difficult to spot even on the full size version of the photo.

Superbe prise de vue. Cet alignement d'arbres est frappant au Palais Royal encore fallait-il penser à lever la tête. Bien vu.

:-) this is a great one! an unconventional point of view, you read the title and you think you're gonna see a garden, not a row of sky between naked branches.
