Double Rainbow

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 3 December 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This was photographed in the 'golden circle' area of Iceland just east of Reykjavik.

Did you know that when you see a double rainbow like this the secondary one is called a "reverse rainbow" because the order of the colours is reversed when compared to the primary one.

NIKON D800 1/100 second F/5.6 ISO 100 26 mm (35mm equiv.)
