Vatna Glacier, Iceland

Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 26 November 2012 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

One of the many glaciers that come down to the coastal plain off Vatnajökull and the Skaftafell National Park. This particular one was right next to our hotel.

The Vatna ice cap covers nearly 10% of Iceland.
