The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights photographed in Iceland a few days ago. I was surprised at how fast they move in the sky. You can also see that the 30 second exposure has caught the trails across the sky left by a couple of shooting stars.
The bright green of the Aurora against the darkness of the sky in the original photo made this a very easy conversion to black and white.
