Eric Laforgue from Ivry sur Seine, France

Superbe composition avec ce cadre composé par les éléments de la nature et cet arbre que l'on devine à peine.
Bravo.

@Eric Laforgue: Thanks Eric! By the way, the tree in the distance is the same as in this photo I took the previous winter:

Gérard Beullac from Paris, France

Excellent, Ian !
What is fun is I had the intention doing do the same kind of picture this last week end in the countryside, by using a tree at the foreground as a frame. There was no snow, I didn't find a so beautiful tree and finally it remained an intention without achievement.
Your picture is so fulfilling my initial desire with beauty !

@Gérard Beullac: Thanks Gérard. I took quite a few photos on a walk through the snow that morning but the results were very mixed in quality even though I really enjoyed the walk. Quite often I go out with my camera and come back with very little in the way of photos that I'm truly happy with but having the camera with me certainly sharpens the senses.

Well spotted, framed and treated Ian. A real sense of an English countryside in this picture. Well done.

Punit from Somewhere in, India

Lovely composition here, Ian! The over-all whites all around the trees due to the snow make the photograph a fantastic one.

simply brilliant! the idea of this photo is superb and very imaginative! at first i thought "what tree?" looking at the branch above and then i saw the tree hiding in the distance - what an excellent composition and use of light and contrast to separate the elements!
