At last I've brought out my first book of photos. It's a hardbound 13" x 11" large landscape book printed using Blurb's new 190GSM Proline pearl paper.
Andrew James, the Editor-in-chief of Practical Photography magazine kindly agreed to write an introduction for the book which was very generous of him!
Blurb's Proline pearl paper is absolutely brilliant and for any of you out there doing your own Blurb photo book who may be wondering if it's worth the extra cost - believe me it is!

@DULCIE: Thanks Dulcie!
@sunstonemaria: Thanks Maria!
@Marie LC: Thanks Marie!
@Valérie Simonnet: Thanks Valérie!
@janina: Thanks Janina!
@Hans ter Horst: Thanks Hans!
@Gérard Beullac: Hi Gérard!...I'm really pleased that you liked it enough to order a copy. Make sure you order it from my own website rather than from Blurb. I need to buy the books in from them so I can individually number and sign them.
Re your question about files I used Blurb's 'Booksmart' software to create the layouts and the photos that I loaded to their site were all highest quality Jpeg files in Srgb colour space (definitely not CMYK). The photos need to be a minimum size in pixels but the Blurb software will tell you about that as you bring photos in to the pages.
@Ian Smith: Thanks Ian. Yes, I'll be keeping a copy for myself somewhere safe. I've been thinking about this book for ages now so it's great to see it finally in print!
@Sergei Z: Thanks Sergei...it certainly is!
@Ani: Thanks Ani!....not an original title I know but it seemed to suit the images.
@Ralf Kesper: Thanks for that Ralph! (free worldwide shipping is included in the price if you get the book from my website)
@keith: Thanks Keith!
@Ted: It was really kind of Andrew James to write the intro but I'm not in the running for POTY this year unfortunately!
