Situated on the south edge of Morecambe Bay near Glasson Docks at the entrance to the River Lune this lighthouse was built in 1847 and is still working today.
This was photographed early in the morning about an hour after low tide using a 2 stop graduated neutral density filter on my wide angle lens to bring the dynamic range of the scene down to something that my camera could manage.

@Hans ter Horst: Thanks Hans. There's plenty of other locations here in the north that I'd like to visit if i had the time! - I haven't photographed at all on the NE coast yet which has great locations like Dunstanburgh Castle and Holy Island to name just a couple.
