Llandudno Sunset

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 1 April 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Dusk at Llandudno in North Wales.

Framed by the wonderful structure of the victorian pier you can see the limestone headland of the Little Orme in the distance glowing with the reflected colours of the setting sun.

NIKON D700 1/200 second F/8.0 ISO 200 16 mm (35mm equiv.)

I've been away but your photography has been tremendous. This location you're shooting at reminds me of Galveston, Texas, for some reason. Kind of old and not the attraction it once was, but still a great place to go.

Wonderful light and a glorious pastel sky. Such a delicate looking structure to weather the storms one knows it has withstood. I can't wait to return to this region. Best to you, Ian.
