St. Olave Street, Chester

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 14 December 2010 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

A medieval half timbered building on St Olave Street in Chester

An extremely slow shutter speed handheld shot at 1/2 second, f4, and iso 2000 using a Nikon D700 and Nikon 16-35vr lens at 16mm (well, not quite handheld as I leaned against that wall on the right to steady the camera!)

NIKON D700 1/2 second F/4.0 ISO 2000 16 mm (35mm equiv.)

Super cinematic feel with the perspective and the light on the shining cobblestone. Great compo, as usual.

@k@: Thanks!....by the way, the shine on the cobblestones is ice. It was very cold that night - about -10 deg C.
