Another night time photo from city centre Manchester - this is a little side street not far from the town hall.
1/4 second handheld at iso 4000.

@sunstone_maria: Thanks Maria!
@Valérie Simonnet: Hi Valérie, no I didn't use a 'Lensbaby' or anything similar. This is simply the effect that you get if you point an extreme wide angle lens down at the ground (my feet are only just out of shot). Despite the mist everything is pretty much in focus which you wouldn't get with a Lensbaby.
@sim: Thanks! (although this is Manchester, England rather than Manhattan New York!)
@flyingwind风飞扬: Thanks!
@Richard: Thanks Richard!
@Valérie Simonnet: No problem!.....by the way I know you have a lot of experience in this yourself but photographing at night in the city helps too as you get a cinematic feel to the images due to the streetlighting. I was at the very end of the alley in this photo and the light was mostly coming from a single street light which is what has created those strong theatrical shadows on the pavement.
I'm over in Paris at Christmas seeing family and I'll definitely be bringing some Manchester mist fog and rain with me if you can wait until then! :-)
