I think I'm finally getting somewhere with this new camera for landscape photos - I've been struggling a bit with all the myriad camera settings up to now but this photo is definitely a step forward with loads more post processing room and subtlety (if that's what you want!) compared to how the files from my old D40 would have coped in the same situation.
This was photographed at 16mm on a Nikon 16-35vr lens at f11
