A cross country skiier on the Col du Petit Saint-Bernard in France last week.
About 2 feet of snow fell in the week we were in La Rosiere. It didn't feel safe going downhill skiiing this particular day as it was snowing so heavily so I went out with my camera instead.
(Edit - I've replaced this with a differently processed version of this photo which shows the snow better)

@Mirko Herzner: Thanks Mirko!
@Ted: :-) Hi Ted, believe it or not this is a road in the summer between Italy and France!
@steve-stefedesign: Thanks Steve....yes I've left the snow chains in the boot of the car but happily I haven't had to use them yesterday or today!
@Foto-aksent: Thanks!
@Mirjam: Thanks Mirjam!
@Ted: Yes, La Rosiere is very close to the border and all the ski slopes are overlooked by Mt Blanc although I don't think the scenery is quite as dramatic as Courchevel or even Les Arcs. I'm not feeling very inspired photographically at the moment for some reason although I did take a couple of photos like this one that I was happy with.
