Lost in the Mist

A misty autumn morning at the top of the cliff face at Malham Cove in Yorkshire.

Photographed last Saturday during a joint photoshoot with John Leech.

NIKON D40 1/10 second F/8.0 ISO 200 15 mm (35mm equiv.)

What a great photograph Ian! The mist and lighting must have been very tricky, but you have captured an excellent composition. The addition of the lone figure adds dramatically to the balance and focal point. Well done.

excellent composition! having the person in there allows for good understanding of the scale here and your use of the light gives good strength to the shapes, which in turns creates a nice dramatic effect!
