Sunlight in the Cathedral

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 4 November 2009 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Sunlight in Sé Cathedral, Madeira during our recent visit to the island. The cathedral was full of local people watching the newly arrived statue of Our Lady of Fátima, hoping to witness one of the miracles for which the statue is famous.

A sneaky shot, Ian. I like how nobody seems to realise you are taking their photo. Georgeous light as well.

@Mirko Herzner: Thanks Mirko.....everyone in the cathedral was concentrating on the statue. If you google "Our Lady of Fátima" you'll see that the statue has a reputation.
