The victorian Natural History Museum in London designed by Alfred Waterhouse and opened in 1881.

The central atrium is a magnificent airy soaring space - what a beautiful building.

If I am allowed to say only one word it would be: STUNNING! An impressive hall with a great architecture. You shot captures the beauty of the place in a perfect way. I bet this would also look great in b/w.

Perfect...difficult though with the contrasting light?

@Ted: Thanks Ted!, the exposure wasn't at all difficult but looking again at this now maybe I should have kept the shadows a little darker.

Crackin' shot Ian. Glad you didn't go with b&w as the muted colours add to it somehow. Beautiful lighting control and framing.
