Sunset in the Woods
Well, it's bluebell season again.
This is a photo from the woods near our house on the edge of the English Peak District. They are carpeted with bluebells at this time of year.
It was sunset and I walked through to the western edge of the woods until I could get the rays of the dying sun in the shot.
All I could hear whilst sitting there in amongst the flowers, surrounded by blue green and gold, was the bird song and the occasional click of the shutter on my camera.
There's a larger version of this photo here for those who are interested.
I've decided to enter the 'Cool Photoblogs' annual competition again this year. I'd really appreciate a vote from any of you who like my blog and who feel up to going through the registration process that is required in order to be able to vote: 2009 Photoblog Awards
