Another one from my recent photo shoot for a company called Wildcat Marine who transport maintenance personnel out to offshore windfarms like this one in the Irish Sea in the NW of England.
The boat is an 11 meter long catamaran especially built for the job. The rubber buffers on the front are for docking up against the turbine bases to allow the maintenance guys to step across onto the access ladders that run up the side of the structure of the turbine base.
They can operate in up to a 2 meter swell....ie the boat can be rising and falling 2 meters alongside the turbine access ladder and still safely transfer personnel.
Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog
