Southport Theatre

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 11 March 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

This is another building that we have recently completed as architects. It's the theatre and convention centre on the Marine Lake at Southport and I photographed it at sunset a few months ago.

It incorporates the old Floral Hall theatre as well as a new 4 star hotel.

I've decided to have another go at the 'Cool Photoblogs' annual competition this year so I'd appreciate a vote from any of you who like my blog and who feel up to going through the registration process:

great photo and i love the building...i mean maybe it would 'feel' different in another kind of lighting, but I love how it has modern and old lines combined...looks a little art deco but not completely...reminds me a little of some of the designs in Miami Beach, but honest, your work looks better :-)
