Magical, Ian. Not surprised it is a statue. I thought at first of a toy soldier placed in the composition.

Really "another place" as you say. Fabolous, You have the ability to create perfect composition. Your images have a cristal clear idea. Everything what's in the picture is mentioned to be there. And this is not easy task.

Otherwise interesting to see that many photographers with splendid colours and details have used Nikon-cameras, it's true. I've tried to quess from pictures what's the camera and very often in images I like, it's Nikon?
Strange but so it is. Possible tells about the good specifications of that camera.

Jessica Richter from Seattle, United States

I love all of your photos- they're inspiring! I hope to be at your level some day.

11 Feb 2011 11:31pm

@Jessica Richter: Thanks Jessica, I still feel like a beginner a lot of the time (although it's now been nearly 4 years since I first took up photography) and that I have a lot to learn which is why I always feel reluctant to give anyone advice. The first year or so was so incredibly frustrating that I nearly gave up a few times however things eventually started to click into place and now I enjoy my photography enormously - I still get frustrated by it but thats usually when I have'nt had the time to use my camera for a couple of days.
