A 9 minute long exposure of the bridge that connects the Île de Ré with La Rochelle. It was taken at dusk.

@Ana Lúcia: Thanks Ana....I only discovered this photo last week amongst the dozens that I took of this bridge when I was there in the summer on holiday with my family.
I was very pleased in the way that it's turned out and think it's a lot better than the other two photos of it that I posted recently.
I tried to get a good long exposure photo on several evenings but it's a very difficult thing to judge correctly at dusk as you have to decide on the exposure time when the light levels are changing by the minute.
@Pixim: Thanks Pixim!
@Paco Díaz: Thanks Paco (and thanks for the vote of confidence at VFXY!)
@yz: Thanks yz!
@Ian: Cheers Ian!
@Mehdi: Thanks Mehdi!
@*Rich*: Thanks Rich....yes, the long exposure has that kind of effect on water. I have other versions of this photo taken without the very long exposure and they don't look at all the same due to the waves on the sea.
@Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thanks very much Alfredo!
@bm: Thanks bm!
@MadScientist: Thanks....there's actually very little processing on this but I know what you mean. The long exposure can render scenes in quite an ethereal way can't it.
@Eric Fry: Thanks Eric!
@Barbara: Thanks Barbara.....checking the exif listed at the side of the photo tells me it was actually a 9 minute long exposure (not 10 minutes and certainly not 10 seconds! )
It took me about a week of photographing this bridge at dusk to get this shot as most of the others had the wrong exposure or there was an unexpected thunderstorm or my tripod got moved by the incoming tide...so many things can go wrong with these types of long exposure photos - especially if you are inexperienced at it like me!
