The Bridge

Yeahh!....I've finally got my laptop back from being repaired after what seems a lifetime without it. I've been going back over some of the photos I've processed recently to see if I could improve on them using my normal CS3 software and with a better monitor of course.

This is the photo I posted recently of the bridge at night between La Rochelle and the Ile de Re.

It's a 30 minute exposure using a 10 stop nd filter (this is the longest exposure that my D40 will take)

The main changes I've made are to correction of distortion and in dealing with the underexposure which resulted in a very grainy image....instead of trying to remove it using software I've increased it and endeavoured to make it look less typically digital and more like film.'
