Another experiment with the new 10 stop neutral density filter which allows extended shutter times to be used for daylight shots like this one.
It was very windy and my tripod was vibrating like the string of a musical instrument so this image is softer than I'm used to.
This will be my last post for a couple of weeks as I'm off on holiday to France....thanks for all your support - I really appreciate it!

@Kris: Thanks very much Kris.....I've only just got this 10 stop filter so I'm still learning with it. I'm looking forward to trying even longer 1/2 hour exposures at dusk (1/2 hour is the maximum on my Nikon D40)
@Dan: Thanks Dan....fortunately this type of long exposure photo suits a slightly softer look I think!
