The Lake District

Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 1 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

On Sunday I went on a grand tour of the English Lake District with a photographer friend I met via DPReview's Nikon D40 - 80 forum.

I'll be posting quite a few of the photos over the next few days but here's one of the man himself at Wasdale head.

Here's a link to some of John's photos from the day:

Very well composed and a stunning view of the Lake District. One of the first areas I visited after I moved to the UK. I loved it there and your photo really represents my mental image of the Lake District really well.
