@GJC: Thanks GJC....I really value constructive criticism and your point regarding colour v B&W are something I'll give some serious thought to. My intiial reaction is that often I look at a shot and realise that I'm not happy with the colour no matter how I try and process it.....sometimes, rather than reject it completely I'll try it in B&W and if I like it better that's what I'll go with.(tomorrows photo is an example of this))
Other reasons for choosing B&W are that sometimes like with this one here I've taken a photo of something with strong shape, angles and shadow and I don't want the distraction of colour.
