The House by the Sea

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 11 September 2007 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

I uploaded this photo especially for Lorraine - you wanted to see this house in colour (it is the house in b&w on Saturdays photo)

What I like about this photo is how unconcerned the owner is about the proximity of his house to the waves that are breaking feet from him. The day I took this shot was calm and not at all stormy although it was high tide. I'd love to be able to get a photo of it in a real storm!

Magnifique endroit, une maison dans laquelle on doit faire de beaux rêves de voyages en mer ...

great timing of the shot. it was great that the owner is wearing red, making him more visible!
