The town of Lancaster on the North West of England is at least 1,000 years old and is full of ancient little alleyways that run between the main commercial shopping streets. When I came across one called ''Bashful Alley'' I couldn't resist going in to have a look.
This is the first in a set of 3 photos. Tomorrows shot is from inside the alley itself and Sunday's will show the unexpected 'photo opportunity' that I found when I came out at the other end.
Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog
For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to my website Ian Bramham - Fine Art Photography where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo.

@Organic Mum: Thanks very much!
@filipe franco: Thanks Franco - I guess we all forget how street photos that seem so common place to the original poster in his own country can seem exotic to someone from far away lands!
