@Josh: Thanks Josh - the most difficult thing about it was getting my son to stay still for a few seconds (good job we have digital or I would have never got this shot, or at least not with the beach in focus!)
@hrg: thanks hrg - glad you liked it!
@Lorraine: Thanks lorraine!
@Viewfinder: Thanks Viewfinder - I'm so pleased that you liked it!
@Shrig: Thanks! (re your own post - I knew with my luck you'd be a psychology major!!)
Yes, the beach is on the North East coast of Sardinia which was great as it meant I could get a shot in the late afternoon without the sun shining straight in his eyes which would be enough to make anyone squint :-)
@Lost Valley: Thanks - it took quite a few attempts to get a photo where the reflection worked and was in focus but thats the beauty of digital isn't it!
@Nick Passantino: thanks Nick!
@Craig: Thanks Craig!
@Herve: Thanks very much Herve! - your comments are very encouraging.
@Laurie: Thanks very much Laurie! I couldn't work out a way of getting my son's face in the sun and brightly exposed without making him squint, so the surround of the eye ended up being a little dull/dark, nevertheless I was delighted with the way the rest of the shot turned out.
@Oddiy: Thanks Oddiy. I borrowed the 'eye' idea from others but wanted to get a view of the Sardinian beach where we were on holiday reflected in it - I was really pleased with the way it turned out!
@Saed: Thanks very much Saed!
@Shahab: Thanks very much Shahab!
@OneAragon: Thanks! - I was really pleased with the way the reflection turned out as I wasn't even sure if the auto focus on my compact camera would be able to capture it!
@aggie: Thanks very much aggie!
@Pixadilly: Thanks again for leaving such encouraging comments Pixadilly!
@ColNed Pictures: Thanks ColNed!
