I thought it was time for some proper light so this is a photo taken at Easter in the French Alps. The mountain lake is Annecy and it is just beautiful with crystal clear water surrounded by views of the Alps.
If you use your imagination you should be able to breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Our children loved the place so much that they wanted us to emigrate!
More from Annecy tomorrow....
Like what you see here and are interested in photographic composition?.....the blog section of my website now has a complete set of 5 articles covering my personal approach to the subject: Ian Bramham Photography - Blog

@Phil: Thanks Phil - I did try unsharp mask LCE to deal with the haze but it didn't improve things so this shot is as it was straight from the camera (apart from resizing)
@Keneth: Thanks Keneth - It was a beautiful warm spring day in the mountains. The haze wasn't the same at all as the hazy light you might get in a city with smog problems so I didn't mind it either!
@badala: Thanks Badala - it was a beautiful place!
@Rahul: Thanks Rahul - it is a truly beautiful place. Over the next 6 days I'll be posting more photos of Annecy - come back and see what you think!
@Cathie et Michel: You are very lucky to be French and to have so many beautiful places like this on your 'doorstep'!
@Viewfinder: Thanks Viewfinder - I think its possibly the most beautiful town of its size that I've ever seen!
Allthough I'm going on holiday tomorrow, I've preloaded enough shots to cover the break including another 6 of Annecy - wait till you see the town itself (Sunday is the first true 'urban' shot). Please come back and have a look and let me know if you agree.
