Water's Edge

Posted by
Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 18 July 2007 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.

I love this photo for the angled lines along the edge of the water. The 'headless' swans also make me smile.
The location is the banks of the River Dee in Chester, Uk

Viewfinder from Bradenton, United States

Very nice capture; even just cropped to show the couple near the bottom it would be a good picture. I like it.

I didn't recognise it at first -- obviously a much sunnier day than when we went there last month - see http://ackworthborn.blogspot.com/2007/06/today-in-chester.html

@sithenah: Thanks sithenah - I took the photo about a month ago when we had a (rare) sunny weekend!

@Saed: Thanks Saed. I love diagonal lines in photos as I think they add so much dynamism.
