The Old Wellington

A typical English city centre pub on one of the sunniest days that we had this summer. This is the Old Wellington Inn, Manchester, UK.

Wow! So much to see in this shot. Really captured a great atmosphere - kind of like the 'ideal' image of drinking in a pub in the summer. Interesting angle you took it from.

You've certainly captured the mood. The tudor like facade of the buildings enhances the picture.

Thanks aggie,
The pubs are original rather than imitation. The Wellington (the brown timbered one) is the older and dates from about 1550; Sinclairs is from about 1720.
They were both moved about 300m to this location after the huge bomb blast of the summer of 1996.

@Babul Bhatt: Thanks Babul!
I guess you would love the area around Covent Garden in London then - it has a great atmosphere to it.
