@L'Angevine: Thanks L'Angevine!....'les rayons' - they are a result of the movement of the clouds in the sky during the 4 minutes that the camera shutter was left open to record this photo.

@Curly: That's very kind of you Curly - I would have loved to have been able to spend a bit more time in Newcastle/Gateshead along the river in particular. It's such a dramatic setting and a lovely city.

Ian, great shot. The composition is excellent, Which side of the river were you? I've only ever taken it from the north side. If you are ever in Newcastle again would be great to meet up.

Wonderful shot..! The long exposure with the clouds create a lovely effect with this one esp with the shape of the building. Would love to see a larger version of this one..!
