A night photo in the mist and rain of Runcorn Bridge which spans the River Mersey not far from Liverpool in north west England.

NIKON D40 4 seconds F/6.3 ISO 200 24 mm (35mm equiv.)

Love the flood light almost blowing out part of the bridge; normally that would be a bad thing, now it gives just the right atmosphere.

This is such a magical image Ian...wonderful tonal range and composition...the bright center gives us a feeling of how busy with traffic it is....beautiful! Hope you are well. I see your are shooting the D40. Hope all well with the D700 too?

@Pavan Kaul: This is an older photo that I've recently reprocessed Pavan. The D700 is fixed and working okay now and I've started using it again thanks as I'm back to full mobility now.

@Ted: Hi Ted, this is an older photo that I've recently reprocessed from scratch. I've now got the D700 back though and started using it again now that I'm fully mobile again.
