Dawn - Llandudno PierPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 28 March 2011 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. A photo looking down at Llandudno Pier at low tide. This was a 2 minute long exposure achieved using neutral density filters on the camera to achieve that dramatic sky and smooth water. @Didier DE ZAN: Thanks Didier! @Shahryar: Thanks Shahyyar! @sunstone_maria: Thanks Maria! @Marie LC: Thanks Marie! @Gérard Beullac: Thanks Gérard! @adebond: Thanks Ade!....this was one of the many photos that I took while out in north Wales on a day's photography with John Leech and Mike Spriggs. We were lucky enough to get some wonderful light in a series of great locations! @Photographs by M.E.: It's a really lovely camera thanks! Although I wouldn't say it's a huge improvement over my old D40 for landscape photography, as that type of photography is not very demanding of a camera; for everything else it's much much better. I particularly enjoy the vastly improved focus speed and accuracy which is amazing even in very low light conditions; the big and bright viewfinder make it a joy to use and the greater control over depth of field is fantastic. All in all it's an extremely versatile and complete camera. |
