One of my photos has been published in Practical Photography magazine this month - it's one of my B&W shots of Cottam Power Station. About 2 months ago they wrote to me and asked if they could use it to illustrate an article on 15 top shots to take this season.
Here's a link to the original photo that I posted here on AM3: http://ianbramham.aminus3.com/image/2010-10-08.html

@sunstone_maria: Thanks Maria!
@tim: Thanks Tim!
@adebond: Thanks Ade!
@Andrew: Thanks Andrew!....I seem to have been very lucky over the last 12 months as this is the third time they've published one of my photos.
My big (unavowed!) ambition when I took up photography in 2007 was to one day see one of my photos published in a photography magazine. I had given up on ever seeing it happen so this year has been strange to say the least but very pleasing!
I have other ambitions now - the main one is that I'd like to get some of my photos in a properly curated gallery. I'm not sure how realistic that is but it's good to have something to aim at.
@guillaume: Thanks Guillaume!
@Sergei Z: Thanks Sergei!
