Botanic Gardens, MadeiraPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 19 October 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio. I've been away for a few days with my wife visiting the beautiful island of Madeira. This is a photo from the wonderful Botanic Gardens which are located high up in the hills above Funchal overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The Madeiran people are some of the most cheerful, and definitely the friendliest that I've ever been lucky enough to meet. This lady working in the gardens was good enough to smile and let me take her photo - she looks happy in her work doesn't she! For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.
