A 'Forget-Me-Not' flowering in our garden at home in the north of England.
According to Aminus3's community page this is the 500th photograph that I've posted here since I joined in June 2007. A sincere thanks from me to all of you who have taken the time to leave such encouraging comments on my photos.

All the colours work wonderfully together in this one. It would have been interesting to see how this would have looked with just a fraction more depth of field so that all three of the front flowers were in focus. Although having said that, I suspect that would also have put the stem in focus too which probably would have lost the photo a little of its impact. Anyway, it's still a lovely photo as it is. It's nice to have a go at other areas of photography than what you normally do, quite refreshing and you always learn something new.
