Ice on Blea TarnPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 20 February 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. Blea Tarn which features in Wordsworth's famous poem 'The Excursion' . This was photographed on Saturday when I met up with John Leech for a dusk to dawn shoot in the English Lake District. 12 hours photography in beautiful scenery like this produced a lot of landscape photos, both colour and b&w, and I'll be posting the results here over the coming weeks. I hope you'll like them. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

I would have been tepmted to pan down a little as there is nothiing going on in that sky though. And I really think the large white border overpowers the shot, which is a shame because it is a really nice, well executed photograph.
