@Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon!...to answer your question the birds weren't added afterwards. The fields around the power station are full of seagulls with it being so near the coast and they were constantly flying through the frame.

Very nice picture! Great tones and wonderful composition. It is hard to understand why those birds do feel like coming so close to the smoke...

Wow that is one heck of a powerful photo, it's exquisite...now looking at this I realize that tomorrow's is not black and white...more of a deep dark blue...Love it ;)
