Wind TurbinePosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 13 December 2008 in Business & Industry and Portfolio. One of the giant wind turbines that line the River Mersey Estuary in Liverpool. I'll post the colour version of this one tomorrow. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

thierry from conde sur noireau, Francea beautiful b&w photography with a good treatment in sepia and a reproduction of the silver grain magnificiently well done (with which software?) 13 Dec 2008 8:52am @thierry: Thanks Thierry....I converted from raw to jpeg in Nikon NX2 then imported to Photoshop CS3 where I did the B&W conversion. The tone and imitation film grain was added using two different elements of a Nik Software plug-in called called Color Efex Pro. @yz: Thanks yz! Mirko Herzner from Mühlheim am Main, GermanyNot an especially 'nice' scenery but very strong. I like the positioning of the main object in the middle and the heavy grain. Very strong! 13 Dec 2008 11:40am @Mirko Herzner: Thanks Mirko! @Ana Lúcia: Thanks Ana! @Robert: Thanks Robert....I'm not absoluitely certain but I think that the bridge like structure in the background that you mention is part of the roof structure of one of the two main football stadia in the city - either Goodison or Anfield. Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadaagree with everyone else - nice job! 13 Dec 2008 1:13pm @Scene by Sharon Photography: Thanks Sharon! zOOm from Paris, FranceI find them quite pretty to tell the truth... love the grainy aspect here.
