Media City, Manchester, November 2008.Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 5 December 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. This is the new building being built for the BBC in Salford Quays on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal. Photographed before dawn early one morning in the mist and rain at high iso with extra grain added in post processing. The architects are Wilkinson Eyre. Here's a photo I posted of it in late September 2008 as construction was just starting: http://ianbramham.aminus3.com/image/2007-09-30.html For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.
