'Another Place'Posted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 25 July 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio. One of sculptor Antony Gormley's famous statues on the beach at Crosby last weekend. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongIt is lovely, Ian. Your trademark fabulous sky and shimmer on the beach. The composition is superb. Until I read your commentary, I thought there was actually a nude man on the beach. 25 Jul 2008 5:05am ~Kylie~ from Richmond, AustraliaYou never fail to amaze Ian, Michael is so right, you are brilliant at great skies, they are your trademark, another stunning capture, those tones are amazing! Powerful. 25 Jul 2008 8:23pm Helen from Melbourne, AustraliaOnce again you have taken me to that 'other place'. Thanks Ian. Visits 'chez toi' are a wonder. Almost like going on a mini-imaginary tour. 25 Jul 2008 9:33pm Nataly from Santa Monica, United StatesI am glad to see Gormley's work again... and your image with the interpretation of it. Is it a permanent exhibit? And the beach and the sky are fantastic. I am very tempted now to take a trip to the N. England. Those beaches are so interesting. They stretch for miles as it seams with fascinating tide. is it very shallow? Knowing that these statues disappear under water I am very curious about the tide patterns there. 26 Jul 2008 3:21am |
