Big SkyPosted by Ian Bramham (Manchester, United Kingdom) on 24 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. A stroll along the beach at Formby last weekend under a dramatic sky. For purchasing high quality archival prints of any of these photos you can send me an email by clicking here or by going to MY NEW WEBSITE where prices are listed in the gallery sections under each individual photo. Links to the websites of other photographers whose work I love and who have all helped me enormously over a long period of time. I find the work of all 3 to be inspirational.

Monique from Koh Samui, ThailandWow, is this really shot in the UK? completely different then I ever could imagine! I like the golden and blue colours and the abondenment accentuated by the two small figures. 24 Jul 2008 3:24pm @Monique: Hi Monique....we have a lot of coastline here in the UK - about 5 times that of France and almost as much as China. Even with our comparatively dense population it means that it's always possible to find deserted beautiful beaches. The weather isn't nearly as warm as Thailands however! daniel kurniawan from solo, Indonesiaday by day, your capture always inspired me ian.. well done 24 Jul 2008 6:11pm damian from Murowana Goślina, Polanddj.tigersprout has got the point what i think about this photo :) 24 Jul 2008 7:02pm daina from United StatesThe simplicity of color (blue, white, ocher) and low cloudy sky creates a wonderful sense of vastness. Lovely. 24 Jul 2008 9:17pm Michael Skorulski from Cigel, Hong KongBeautiful, Ian. The contrast between lovely sky and golden land is well marked. Excellent as usual. 25 Jul 2008 4:12am |
