Another photo from stonehenge but this time with no people in the shot....(well I lie - there's a tiny dot of a person behind the stones on the left if you've got good eyesight :-)

I prefer the composition of this one over yesterdays, and there's no people (almost). How on earth did you manage that?

This is even more beautiful than yesterdays image, you have absolutely nailed this Ian, excellent!

Another excellent take.

With this one the emphasis is more on the stones. A more standard view, I would say.

A wonderful, balanced shot with great atmosphere! Seems that the monument emphasizes the clouds more than vice versa - excellent.

Man, Ian, in the years to come, some people will consider 'Oh my that's almost as good as a Bramham' the best compliment ever!!!!

This photo has a very classic look, Ian. It`s really great. I like this one much better then the yesterday`s one. The person walking by is just enough to show the scale of the stones. There are sooo many images of the Stonehenge and all of them are so different and unique, and so is yours. Very well done!

Lovely composition of Stonehenge! Did you wait for those gorgeous clouds to come by as a canvas for the stones? A lot better than the desktop wallpaper Stonehenge that comes with the Windows XP package! ;-)

Love your post-processing. Especially the sky. Stonehenge has never looked so majestic!

I prefer this one too. I agree there are less people, but for me the clouds contribute and strengthen this composition. You have caught the mood of the place. This is a great shot of the Stonehenge and I mean it because I have seen thousands!
