@Michael Skorulski: Thanks Michael...it was a piece of luck to be in the right spot to get this shot with suitable weather so that the setting sun wasn't obscured by cloud (a compartively rare event here in the UK :-)
@Marie Le Corre: Thanks very much Marie!....I usually post process all my images to get the most out of them but this is exactly as it came from my camera apart from a small crop (it was taken with the kit lens as well)

I am really looking forward to seeing the Clifton ones...having spent a number of months working in Bristol and passing under the Suspension bridge daily I often wondered how best to shoot it...I'm hoping you'll answer that. In fact I know you will! Regards.

@Ted: Hi Ted...well as I mentioned in my reply to your comment on my photo from yesterday, it was this shot of yours http://ted.aminus3.com/image/2008-05-28.html that made me want to see the bridge for myself in the first place. I switched to my kit lens to get this photo as the bridge looked a bit small viewed through my 10-20 lens. It's a very awkward thing to photograph isn't it!
The Clifton photo is up at DPR if you want to get a sneak preview.....there's a cave halfway down the cliff face and that would be the ideal spot if I ever return there and if I can find a way to get access. In the meantime all the shots I've got are from the top of the cliff like everyone else. I used the 10-20 on that one and it was ideal.

AH !!! The road home,I´ll be traveling over the Severn bridge in 4 weeks time on the way to Pembrokeshire.I hope it looks as good as this when I drive over.Great shot.
